Grocery Crud Codeigniter 3

Hi All,

 

I am new to Grocery Crud / Codeigniter 3

I have a issue with the installation of Grocery Crud 1.5.4 on to Codeigniter 3.0.6

I have installed Codeigniter 3 and when run, I get the welcome page okay.

When installing GC I get as far as :

http://localhost/codeigniter/index.php/examples

which the loaded page shows

 

 

 when I click on the Customers link of the links I get:  (or any of the other links)

 

The requested URL /html/codeigniter/index.php/examples/customers_management was not found on this server.

 

or similar message depending on the link clicked.

 

I have been through the web looking for answers and tried many things, and been through the code, even looked up CI3 new rules,  still cannot figure out whats wrong.

What am I missing............

Please can someone point me in the right direction, been at this for three days

It's working a Okay.

 

Just me being a nerd.

 

had a value in $config['base_url'] = '';
