there is a way to set the column width will self adjust based on the data contained in them?

The column width actually in datatables theme change automatically from your screen width. The problem is only with flexigrid theme. I will have this in mind to change it in the future to work the same as datatables auto width. The default CSS of flexigrid works like that and I didn't want to change it in the first place.
