After adding data and using save option all the info added in the add form resets. Is there a way to hold on to some data ? Lets say a user will use a date to add 10 records and holding the data for the next add will save him time.

There isn't an automatic way. You need to program it yourself.

yes it's possible. there is a JavaScript function which resets form after saving. you can change it.
it's function is in the theme folder. if you use flexigrid look for it in the flexigrid's directory.
