I want to call the search button without having to click the mouse.

well my friend u can user jquery for the same $("#objectname").trigger('click');

i try edit js in themes flexigrid, but can't run

dont edit the theme js file unless u need it all across..

well what is the error like.. did u find any error..

u can try the same piece of code using the console .... check if there it is happening / functioning or not..

if it functions there - great..! if nott u need 2 check yr code
