export does not work with bootstrap or flexigrid

due the export in those themes are a php code i'm unable to debug i updated the GC on my CI 2.X and now does not work..

when i click over the export buton, the symtom its open a new tab..

in the datatables theme does work due its a flash stupid binary..

PLEASE stop with "upgrade its too older" i only ask how to debug due the call only opens a new tab event show error..
